When I was a kid, my mom always decorated for every single holiday. She would make a fun afternoon out of it as we’d take down the decorations from the previous holiday and put up the decorations for the upcoming one. I haven’t really been able to carry on this tradition in my own home yet since money was so tight for us previously, but now that our financial situation is a little less stressful I’ve decided to give it a try. With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, I wanted to find some cute decoration ideas that I wouldn’t have to go out and buy a lot of supplies for. After spending some time on Pinterest, here are 5 Cute and Easy Valentines Day Decorations I found that you probably already have the supplies to make.
I love this wall art from Tatertots & Jello! All you’ll need is a canvas, scrapbook paper, flowers, and some kind of adhesive. I don’t have any pre-made flowers, but I’m going to make my own using red and pink card stock.
This cute banner is from Eighteen25. They used a pre-made banner and wooden hearts, but you could easily reproduce this with just some burlap, twine, and paint.
These adorable vases are from Mason Jar Crafts Love. All you’ll need for this is a mason jar (or a few), some paint, tape, and some flowers or whatever you’d like to put into your vases.
This adorable Valentines Day garland is from Vicky Barone. She uses scrapbook paper, adhesive chipboard alphabet letters, mini clothespins, a paper cutter and/or scissors, and twine. You could easily do without these particular letters and the clothespins if you don’t have them.
This nail and string art is from Her Campus. All you’ll need is a piece of wood (I’ve also seen these done on other surfaces), nails, and string.
I hope you enjoyed this compilation of 5 Cute and Easy Valentines Day Decorations, and that you have fun creating some of them.
